A series of monotypes inspired by daily swims off Swanpool Beach, Falmouth
Monotype, unlike other forms of printing that enable multiple replication, is a form of print that produces one unique image. There are many ways to produce a monotype but the process here was to apply ink to an aluminium plate with a roller then create the image by taking away the ink. The drawing was then transferred onto damp paper through an etching press.
