The rain falls

Another finished piece. I was making this whilst Open Studios was on. Was good to do something in the quiet times. As I was cutting the frame with my very old jigsaw and then sanding it down by hand I was wishing for some machinery to make things easier. Very hard knotted wood. But as the colours and the grain of the wood slowly showed themselves to me I decided lack of machines is not such a bad thing. Peacefully getting covered in dust instead of going deaf and disturbing the neighbours.
